Whole Team Day 2024: Celebrating Children’s Links 🎉

On the 30th August, Children’s Links came together at Fernwood Village Hall near Newark for our Whole Team Day, and it was an absolute success! Every year, Whole Team Day is our opportunity to come together and celebrate our incredible staff and the meaningful work we do as a team. The day was packed with fun activities, inspiring discussions, and plenty of opportunities for creativity.

We kicked things off with activities like making teddy bear outfits and parachutes, followed by an insightful workshop on bullying and harassment led by Toni Robinson from Nucleus HR, where we designed superheroes to tackle these issues. After a delicious lunch, we got crafty with mosaic coasters as part of Yvonne’s Multiply training.

The highlight of the day was the Children’s Links Awards, where we recognised outstanding contributions from our team members based on our core values of Learning, Innovation, Nurturing, Kindness, and Striving for Success. A big congratulations to all our winners and highly commended stars for their dedication and exceptional work!

The day left us all feeling more connected, informed, and proud to be part of the Children’s Links Group. A huge thank you to Yvonne and Amanda for organising the fantastic activities—your creativity truly shone through with the teddy bear parachutes and mosaic coasters! 😃

Child and Family Arrangements (ICFA)

Children’s Link’s have been awarded the Improving Child and Family Arrangements (ICFA) by Cafcass which began on 1st May 2021. Children’s Links are the Lead provider working in partnership with other ICFA providers across the East of England: A10 – Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire A11 – Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire A14 – Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk
