Contact Centre VOLUNTEER Would you like to make a difference to families? Do you have a warm and caring nature, a willingness to help others, the ability to remain impartial and confidential at all times with a good sense of humour? Are you available on Saturday mornings? Children's Links needs you! We run Child contact centres through out Lincolnshire, Leicester, Nottingham and Peterborough where children of separated families can enjoy contact with one or both parents in a comfortable, neutral and safe environment, when there is no viable alternative. Key tasks, duties and responsibilities: 1. Set up the venue and carry out health and safety checks and risk assessments2. Meet and greet the resident and non resident parents and children3. Facilitate and encourage positive interaction4. Support the family with the care of the child eg nappy changing or feeding5. Support the family’s understanding of the process6. Provide refreshments.7. To be aware of and adhere to policy and practice guidelines on : - Confidentiality - Health and safety - Child protection - Equality and Diversity Hours of work: Saturday mornings - times may vary depending on location but we ask a minimum commitment of 3 hours per month.
